Legends Of Kung Fu

Saizen Media created the official game website for critically acclaimed MMO RPG game “Legends Of Kung Fu”. Using in-game renders as reference material our team created a digital matte painting that would evoke the same atmosphere and resemble the locations in the game. The matte painting was used as header/backdrop for the website, and was seamlessly integrated with framework and the content. Original sound effects and environment animations were created to further increase the immersive feel of the scene. We then illustrated a set of eight original characters, based on reference material from in-game, fully hand-illustrated in Photoshop and animated in Flash and After Effects. 3D characters were also rendered and post-produced to be placed into the scene; by clicking on each character the viewer can trigger a power-move animation which will subsequently load the character profile.
