And ultimately does digital love exist? Inspired by ESKMO’s track “My Gears Are Starting To Tremble” – Ninja Tune Records – our team created this beautifully crafted CG short that serves as music video to the track.

Saizen Media reinvents the digital comic book! And while at it creates its own IP. Soul Reaper is the first HTML5 scroll-activated digital comic book. Our team has developed a brand new approach that applies the new capabilities of HTML5 and CSS canvas animations to storytelling and narrative, therefore creating a fully immersive interactive experience. The HTML5 Scroll Book allows the user to become an active part of the story and have full control on the motion and interaction with the visuals; when in “couch mode” the user can sit back and simply watch the events unwind in front of his/her eyes, while a voiceover narration reads the dialogues and guides the user through the story. Soul Reaper – Episode1 is the first chapter in the Soul Reaper saga, an original comic book entirely created and illustrated by Saizen Media to take full advantage of the HTML5 Scroll Book technology.
Our friends at 2Advanced got us involved in the creation of the teaser website for the latest installment in the Tekken Tag Tournament series by Namco/Bandai.
The challenge: Create a set of comps featuring a backdrop depicting an hyper-real fighting arena equipped with Jumbotron screens and chanting crowd on the bleachers, everything from scratch with zero assets and in only one day! Needless to say we jumped on it, and created an original backdrop that uses a mixture of 3d modeling, digital matte painting and illustration. Saizen Wins!
